Favorite visual artist: After being on Deviant Art for so long, I know that there will never again be a favourite artist for myself; but rather a plethura of talent to let my eyes wash over on a daily basis with astonishment and wonder.Favorite movies: Ones that touch my soul,... and all it's parts. It makes me laugh, cry, feel, think, change,... it just makes me question reality and the acts we find within it by creating and watching art mimmicking life, and vice-versa. No faves, only endless hours.
Favorite TV shows: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia / The Big Bang Theory / Castle / House / Blue Bloods / Modern Family / Law & Order (most of them),... etc.
Favorite bands / musical artists: Even my list on GrooveShark is too long to list on Deviant Art...--music feeds the soul, is breathed in, is let out in human experience,... music is beautiful in all it's making of noise and sound.
Favorite books: When I have time to read, I appreciate,... anything. But most of all, I appreciate a good historically correct novel, involving the cooking/baking of culturally different foods,... perhaps it's strange, but I do love learning new tricks in the kitchen!
Favorite writers: I don't have a favourite writer--I've not read enough to be qualified to say as much.
Favorite games: Most games that are logic/theory based,... puzzle/brain-teaser games; I like to stay sharp, and addicted to something that has infinite levels of possibility.
Favorite gaming platform: I have a PSII, but I don't use it. I think most of the games I play are either PC, or they're on my BlackBerry (usually while waiting for appointments here and there in town).
Tools of the Trade: My Wacom Pen, Wacom Cintiq 21UX, and my Dell XPS 1710 desktop replacement laptop.
Other Interests: Vast, varied, and ever-changing; an open mind can be wonderfully torturous.

Hello to all fellow deviants and deviant observers and patrons!My name is Robyn Heenan, and my business name is 'HotPinkPixel'; my slogan being that of: "There are Bilions of Pixels. Make Yours Stand Out." And that is exactly what I intend to do with my own artwork, and artwork stemmed from the creative ideas of others who hire me to do their creative designing for them.
Why this business name:... 'HotPinkPixel'?
It's simple.
In digital photography, often there will be a burn-out pixel in the camera somewhere after long, loving use of the digital beast; it's capturing all aspects of our modern life you see--so there are bound to be moments of burnout and break-down. This breakdown within a pixel (you often see it in your photos when editing them, or even simply in a quick up-load to your computer during a shoot)--where-in the pixel,... just one or two within an image usually,... goes bright red/orange,... any of the 'hot' red-hued colours of the rainbow. This burned out pixel is then grudgingly (as it's not a GOOD thing that any photographer wants to see in a photo) a 'hot pixel'. It's a 'hot pixel' because it stands out among the rest of the billion(s) plus other pixels that are behaving normally.
So why 'HotPinkPixel'?
Because I want the specific pixels that I create for myself, as well as for others,... to stand out so hot, that you'll always want to come back to get the job done right, right here. And 'Pink'--well, it's my favourite 'hott' colour, and that's just for me, because I'm the soul person behind all the going's on here at 'HotPinkPixel'--Pixels that stand out well on their own, are nothing to be afraid of here anymore. Just give me a try! I'm sure I can persuade you that this is just what you need to add some hott to your cool business.
