Hm, I wouldn't know who to follow, but my biggest piece of advice for DR OCs? Research. Understanding more about the talent will make your character more realistic, but also it'll give you a lot of inspiration! It helps to look at real life examples of people in those fields of study. Idk what else to say that wouldn't be too long and tedious to explain, but I hope that's a good starting point.

So this is a story all about how this show called bungou stray dogs is super genre blind and I have no clue what it is
It's about a world where all the characters are named after writers and they also have oddly specific superpowers 
Also it's a detective mystery show but most of it is action??? Also there's the Japanese mafia and it gets weird

Their superpowers are also slightly based on their books? Some more than others.
