# About me
Hi-Hi. My name is Marc. I'm A.K.A. BR Guthrie, from the 'House Of Usher'. I am 52 years old, but don't let my age fool you. For-neurologically, I'm no-more than a 'teeny-bopper' of 11, straight out of the 70s. as if out of a time machine...meaning that I'm not an adult with an 'inner child' inside of him (if it were only that)...no. I'm STILL the lonely, awkward little kid that used to stand in the corner-by himself, for the most part and always kept an eye out for bullies...why 11-you say? In 1977, Ive had a life-altering experience. Let me tell you in 'Raccoons' terms. ''I, am Bentley. (let's say) I've written a letter-telling Bert (my cousin, Sylvain)-how great a guy he was, my mom (my OWN mother)-bade me to throw the letter away...'' My' Neurological Clock' had-since then stopped ticking. One doesn't mature when one is always alone. Sure, I've had a few friends-here and there...but them...they've all come to ME. Not all were desirable people, though. But whenever I tried to extend MY hand...I'm still batting '.000' (and whenever they did, they either don't follow up, or couldn't find the time...). I am-every bit as vulnerable now, as-I ever was back then. To this day, I-still never found out what it felt like to 'share an intimate moment' in the arms of another...and after 27 straight years (1971-98) of trying to hook up with someone, out of desperation...I-finally had to 'Stop All This Nonsense', take whatever's left of my life and take it day-by day.In 1987, I saw the 'Raccoons' GOLD RUSH' got hooked on 'Bert Raccoon' and began building my 'Private Heaven' from there (For a more thorough description of myself, check out the Deviation 'DUESENBERG LEVIS'...the one with a big red car). I sought solace in the 'Raccoons', and today...I feel OK (under the circumstances).
Here on Deviant Art, I present-to all of you-Mankind...all I will have left to offer...the 'happiness'-I have found in the 'Raccoons'. I'd consider myself their #2 fan, for I'd leave the #1 spot for the 'REAL' children.
Yeah, I've my interests like everybody-else, some of your TV experiences began with 'The Raccoons', and move forth towards 'JEM' and 'Captain Planet'-to 'Seinfield'-to 'Friday Nights At Freddy's' (whatever THAT is...), but-mine, on the other hand, had ENDED with the 'Raccoons'. I've always stuck to the 'old' shows-moving back towards 'That's My Mama' and All In The Family'-to 'Scooby-Doo'-to 'I Love Lucy'. I couldn't soak ANYTHING of Western Culture-Post 'Raccoons' (maybe 'South Park, or a few snippets of the 'Simpsons', some 'Keith Olberman' and LPs of a few Psychedelic Bands that have-popped up, here and there...)! They were-simply too TOUGH an act-to follow.
My Deviations have NO bases. They are all photographs of my drawings...Pencil Crayons-on Compatible Stationary. All my characters within are O.C.s from ANOYHER 'Raccoons' Lore. I hope that you will enjoy what's kept me alive-these past thirty years.
