You bet! I think "Dejah in the Dead City" is great! I get a bit weary of the Dejah Thoris Porn Queen poses that have become a bit too common (which I am guilty of I'm afraid). Yours has a classic appeal to it!

You're welcome! I am most impressed by the obvious work you do to make your models look natural. I have no access to a live model and so use Daz Studio to pose a figure against one of my own photographic backgrounds. One of the hardest challenges is matching the rendered model to the photograph's lighting and grain (a lot of post work in Photoshop)! You transform the cg figure incredibly well and bring it to life! Keep up the good work!

Well,i think you are perfectly right Since we have to work with lifeless dolls, the cure of details is decisive.Models must live and be believable so i spend many time on posing all single bone of the character,i work on expression and attitude, and work a lot on lighting. The matching between background and scene is absolutely intuitive,i feel only my sensations, and yes it's a great but fantastic challenge Thanks a lot for the beautiful comment friend and appreciations!

The frame was made from copper tubing, 1/2" and 3/8" dia.'s. I drilled 3/8" holes in the 1/2 tubing, inserted the 3/8" tubing and soldered the joints. A piece of 3/8" tubing was inserted in the end of the 1/2 to extend the wing length (and provide a slight taper). This was also soldered (although a 1/2" length of 3/8 tubing was cut and wrapped around the 3/8" tubing to fill in the gap between the two diameters which made it easier to solder). A 3/4" plywood frame was cut to fit on the back, countersunk holes were drilled in the appropriate spots. The ends of the 1/2" tubing were flattened and drilled to accept the bolt coming up through the plywood and held down with a nut (it was found flattening the tubing made the frame weak at that point and so Romex staples were used to further fasten the frame to the plywood). Polyester fabric was cut to fit the frame and hot glued to it. Strips of fake fur were also hot glued to the tubes to cover them. Fake fur was also cut to fit and glued over the back of the plywood support. Two strips of 2" white cotton strapping were cut to fit and fastened with hot glue and staples so the construction could be worn like a backpack. The advantage to using copper tubing is that it's light yet sturdy and can be somewhat bent and repositioned as needed.
I hope this gives you an idea how this was put together, I pretty well figured it out as I went. If you'd like I could send you a drawing to better outline what I did...email me at msrmohr@msn.com

Ahh, yes! I'm a Corben fan from w-a-a-a-y back! His sense of lighting and rendering has been an inspiration for decades.
Thank you for the kind remarks!
