oh no! really?.... don't know how to feel about this. i saw thumper in the mall days ago, didn't know if i should say hi but thumper didn't see me so i didn't say anything nalang :I

but for thumper's sake, that really sucks. thumper might not have the best personality, or even tries for that matter... but thumper had a lot of potential. :I but deliberately threw it away for reasons unknown... ( thumper did bad things, but thumper's motives are so unclear... I can't hate thumper, it's appropriate to say that i pity thumper. Thumper's got...... something mental going on. Idk what it is but let's try not to trouble ourselves with that when there's so much celebrate and be happy about ok? Bambi has, more or less, yet another mental thing going on about her but it's bambi's life. XD We're not going to atone for what both of them's done so let's just leave it be~ :>

i've been stressed out lately ;a;a I just went to this place here called "bohol" STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS, although, a little crowded. The rural areas like Anda are so unique. I think I went swimming to the beach more than once cuz the water was so clear and the sand was so fine! ;o;

Usually when I go to beaches, I always complain that the sand's kinda course and it hurts my feet ;a; but the sand in bohol was so... different. It was so fine it almost felt liquid lol does that sounds weird to you?

So did you enjoy summer? I've been traveling a lot. Not exactly abroad because I had some problems in school that I had to fix by staying here in PH (summer classes.. orz) but I like taking time to re-appreciate what's already existent here in PH ;u; <3 even though I went to 2 different branches of Ocean Park (it was funny actually XD) I still enjoyed ;u; <3

I got into Jazz because of my Uncle in the States. He's a real Jazz fanatic and it's the only genre he listens to. He's into Hiromi, Mike Stern, Wayne Krantz, and a lot more artists I can't remember anymore. XD Have you heard of them? When I went over there to U.S. I got to see THE THREE OF THEM PLAY LIVE. ;A; my heart nearly stopped! legit! Hiromi's playing was show-stopping. She amazed me the most. Her music was killer! <3 Mike Stern has a cute smile XD Wayne Krantz... made me kind of uncomfortable.. XD His music is GOLD but the faces he makes on stage... o///o it's kind of embarrassing to look at. But now I know what they mean by "make love with your music" XD;;;

I haven't been following up on Jazz for the longest time but this anime called "Sakamichi no Apollon" gave me some really nice songs. <3 it's also a very good anime<3! Lullaby of Birdland is a beautiful song. It's the quiter side of jazz, more on the Chillout side but just as passionate.

Once in 2007 & once last year! It was really fun :>
We went to tagaytay & boracay. But we mostly just stayed in the city to visit our family friends and relatives. Also, if you want to speak Tagalog, you can~ I can understand it well because my parents never speak English to me LOL I'm slow at getting my thoughts into words though haha I should practice LOL

My favorite has to be Luka since her voice is very jazzy and mature yet sweet in a heartwarming way. ;u; It's strange that she sounds awesome when singing metal and rock music even though she's designed to sing bossanova, jazz, and romantic songs <3

here's the first bossanova song i've heard from her (when she was first released! XD it's been so long ago but her voice always stuns me <3 she already has a V3 upgrade but doesn't compare to the charm of her old voice <3 but the V3 upgrade has its perks she sounds less like screaming and more like humming and her low notes are so tender it makes my heart pound <3 )

Vocaloid is really broad since, the users get to do whatever they want with them. The newer ones are very realistic ;u; <3 There was this old-ish update from yamaha that made them sound VERY REALISTIC. to the extent that they cancelled it's completion. XD here's a demo from Gumi <3 [link]

and her V3 append updates are gorgeous <3 her "whisper" extend is beyond lovely <3 listen to it and you'll be amazed [link]
i love how gumi always sings with so much feeling <3 her vibrato is very jazzy <3

I guess I got into Vocaloid because it opened my eyes to many genres of music. There's a Vocaloid song for every genre even lesser known ones like "Ska", there's even some "samba" and "opera" <3 There's also a group of artists that make jazz versions of vocaloid songs ;u; <3 they're fun to listen too <3 and also calming ;u;

<3 ikr ;u; gumi's voice basis is half filipino btw ;D i prefer gumi than a lot of vocaloids because her voice is very realistic and she fits almost any genre. Miku's append versions are tolerable since she sounds less.. um.. annoying XD check her append versions some time I liker her Dark and Solid appends Dark append makes her sound mature and adult while solid makes her voice very strong and capable of less chipmunk-ish high pitches and more expressive vibrato ;u; i dont have an example on me rn because i dont listen to miku at all anymore LOLOLOL

There's a lot XD i can't count them anymore since this 2012, various vocaloid companies have been spewing out new vocaloids it's ridiculous! ;a;

*LONG POST*

Vocaloid (2004)started out with english-voicebanks (Miriam, Leon, Lola, etc) and then it all became japanese by 2006 (Meiko and Kaito) and the poor engloids were out to rust. ;o;

The Vocaloid 2 series started in 2007 with less monotone though robotic voicebanks (Rin, Len, Miku were released). Miku was the highlight of 2007 though Rin and Len were immensely popular

Then more vocaloids started popping out XD Luka is of significance because she is the first BILINGUAL vocaloid since it's predecessors. :> Gakupo, Gumi, Kiyotery, Yuki, Miki, Lily, Iroha, Gachapoid and EVERYONE just started popping out. Including english vocaloids like Sweet Ann, Tonio, and Big Al (There's also another english one named "Sonika" but I forgot her release date. She's considered a shame to vocaloid because she can't sing anything right and by that I mean, everything she says comes out as gibberish, though, her voice is lovely and sweet.)

Then "Append" Miku came out which features 4 different types of polished and realistic upgrades to her voice. The popular/main vocaloids had appends made and some are made in a new Vocaloid synthesis engine (*Vocaloid 3)

After that, a high-quality avatar-less elite series of vocaloid came out. Namely VY1 (female) and VY2(male). They were a huge success because they showed how powerful the Vocaloid 2 synthesis engine was.

This 2012, Vocaloid 3 happened :> and there are so many new vocaloids that came out that I can't name them all... ;a;

The ones I remember are: SeeU (korean), Mew (jp), Oliver (eng), Clara & Bruno (Spanish), Tone Rion (jp), Yuzuki (jp), and this chinese one... i forgot her name ;o;

^those vocaloids i listed above aren't even complete XD just the one's I remember XD I know I'm missing 4 but I don't remember them at all

Do you know what an UTAU is?XD it's also vocaloid related XD AHHH it's pretty broad, isn't it?XD Well UTAU is sort of like vocaloid, only the voices are created directly by human voices. (Vocaloid voices are recreated through technology) Utau is also very VERY ROBOTIC. But charming in it's own way. The most famous one and well known is "Kasane Teto" who features a cute snooty young female teenage voice It's surprising she's voiced by a man UTAU was created to be an April Fools joke but now it's officially recognized by Yamaha Teto even appears in the vocaloid games as a kind gesture <3 UTAU has made its way to the Touhou fandom strangely XD

My favorite UTAU is Namine Ritsu and Coco Macne (Black) Ritsu looks and sounds like an adult female but she was voiced by a guy like Teto! @_@ She's also very realistic given her recent upgrades. Coco Macne has some kind of split-personality thing going on XD (Her 'white' and 'black' versions.)

White: sweet but matured voice which is kinda high pitched
Black: tough and matured voice which can reach low notes with ease

I prefer her Black version because it sounds really beautiful ;u; Her white version is really annoying /lol sobs

I want to tell you more if that's ok with you XD I haven't gone through it all quite yet XD There's a reason why Vocaloid is so popular but it depends on you and how you let them grow on to you XD <3
