Art student in suspended motion. I'll go back when I have money for school. won't stop me from making, learning, growing and being an artist. Just slows me down for a while. (Also I kind of resent that DA's "I am an artist, check the box" thing. It demands that I classify my skill level. Have you SEEN some of the things that get into museums? It didn't take art school to find a way to make a wall of plaster-cast vaginas. Nor do I think that's really a full time hobby. So let me just say this. I'm an artist. Not done with school, yes it is a hobby, it's also my life's purpose, or a part of it. Also, if selling your work makes you a pro, then I'm there. but somehow I think it has more to do with if you're taxed for selling it.)
