omy goodness. everyone (no offense) keeps thinking its a big deal that i said that!! i don't really mind. i mean, i understand i could have more watchers if i put up my good art work, but i don't want people to steal my art and call it their own.>> thnx for the concern, but honestly, i didn't think anyone but me would read that! ahahaha...^^

Aw, you should not worry about your watchers, but to focus more on your work! The more you focus on your art, the better you will be and receive as many watchers! lol, so don't worry if don't have a lot of watchers (forget them) I don't have any watchers at all! and I do have the same goal as you do, to publish graphic novels and sell them! so don't think anything negative, that will really ruin it for you!

You know, there's a button "reply" and you'll receive the answer in your message box ^^
I don't use Photoshop, I use OpenCanvas, it's easier when you begin to draw on your computer and I prefer OC's tools
Actually, when I draw my character's hair, I make it with 3 layers. One for the first colour, an other (multiply mode) for the contrast, and the last (addition mode) for the brightness...
I hope it'll help you... but I think there's tutorials on the Internet, you can find it easily on deviantART or on MangaRevolution...
