Since im basing my region on New Zealand and Australia, so i just look up unique animals and then work around that. And sometimes when i go out with friends i might have an inspiration so just gotta hang on to that in the brain XD

Thatnks! Mines based off India and the Himalayas and Indias vast ecosystems, coming up with legendaries is difficult though, indias myths are pretty wild lol
