Two Points Of View

The world could not be better,
The optimist always cries,
And the pessimist with his head hung low,
Agrees with woeful sighs,
Smelling only roses, seeing forests not the trees,
The optimist goes to bed at night feeling rather pleased,
While the pessimist on the other hand,
He really doesn't understand,
His roses have too many thorns,
The trees are dying and so he mourns.
