Same. honestly, after listening to it a shit ton, i'd give it a 5/10. solid average. nowhere near his best work, and it's hard as fuck to rank his worst because even that is good.

it's okay? i dunno if you've heard it, but for me, it's alright.
albeit, i've only listened through it once, so i only remember the general sound and opinions of songs, but it wasn't that bad.
but, i apparently have the unpopular opinion that the songs "believe" and "chloraseptic" sound like shit. i don't really like em's flow and the beats are really, really shitty trap soundcloud beats, which i'm not fan of at all.
but there are quite a few songs that i like off of it, for sure. but i wouldn't say any of the songs are incredible. from one listen, there wasn't really a song that was like "oh shit, i'm listening to this song 30 times in a row" like, on the mmlp2, love game, headlights, bad guy, brainless, and evil twin were those kinds of songs.
and, i don't care what people say, rick rubin produced tracks aren't bad, they're better than believe, which was one that em produced.
i dunno, i'm sure most of it will grow on me, but there are certainly lackluster songs on it.

i haven’t had a chance to listen yet is it out already ?? i’ll probably listen to it when i get the album myself !! i still don’t have all his albums like i have all of mj’s albums - but even if revival is not as well done as his previous stuff, i’m still gonna be ecstatic cos like i’ve been waiting on new content from eminen FOR SO LONG. i don’t wanna listen to all the tracks until i get this album in my hands 👀

uncomfortably numb. i actually don't own any physical copies of his stuff? but, i'm planning on buying some vinyls of his and i know one of my friends is getting me one of his albums on vinyl for christmas.
and, i listened to it a bit more. it's absolutely growing on me. some of this shit is really good. i'm even starting to like believe a little bit.
excluding walk on water and untouchable, i think offended is my favorite track from it.

i. he was having a ball up on the small stage of the bar. normally, rappers didn't play in bars, but marvin played wherever people would let him play. he loved it.
ii. after a couple songs, he finishes, smirking behind the microphone as he places it back on its stand, stepping off the small stage.
iii. he lets out a happy sigh, adjusting his sweatshirt as he sits at the bar. he couldn't eat or drink anything, but he knew that was something normal for humans to do, so he just sat there, choosing to wait a while before he left the bar. in the meantime, he grabbed a peanut from a small bowl of them on the bar, slowly crushing it on the wooden bar.

[ the guy was spittin' fire like hot damn! jackson wasn't the one to listen to rap normally, but hey, he liked this. rock, hip hop - it could certainly work well with pop with the right people ]
[ here he was, sitting at one of san fran's saloon bars he's been to before, enjoying a coke with one of his partner in crime, chase, and enjoying the evening's entertainment. these type of bars always had great atmosphere, and the patrons were always welcome to anything new ]
[ marvin was the newest act for tonight, and jackson was nodding his head to this beat. as it ended, there was a round of applause, and then people went back to their business, and the jukebox started up, the calm relaxation returning ]
[ jackson and chase were the first to introduce themselves to the rapper, sitting next to him on the bar stool ]
"Hey, that was really good! You were really fast on those lyrics! I couldn't understand everything you were sayin', but I thoroughly enjoyed it."
[ he chuckles softly, setting his coke down on the bar ]
"I'm Jackson, and this is my buddy, Chase."
[ chase was far more talkative than jackson. he shot his hand out for a shake, grinning ]
"How you doin', man? That was amazin' back there! Hey, I listen to a bit of hip hop now and then. Wouldn't imagine seeing a rapper in this bar, though. Pretty cool stuff."

i. he smiles, shaking chase's hand.

ii. he pulls his hand away.

iii. he shrugs, brushing the peanut crumbs off of the bar with his hand.

[ jackson asks, noticing marvin crushing peanuts instead of eating them ]
"Hey, can I getcha a drink?"
[ chase asks later, calling the bartender up ]
