sorry long time no post.

I got off track a little but I do still draw a lot but it was taking a LOT of time scanning everything so I decided the time was better spent drawing.

I'll be back for sure though.

I am thinking about starting a new page sort of like a blog where I post new art every day. I blew it here and took a big break but I really want to come back and basically post nearly every day. I really feel it will help me get over that final hump to getting work.

what are your art goals?

I want to draw comics first off and then see where it all goes.

that blog thing sounds great!
You could keep an up to date account on deviant as well... you get artists following your development easier than following a blog... i think!

I'm sketching everyday in the bus.... so far I've improved a lot in profile views... Not brave enough to start full faces!
My goal would be to be very good human figure and poses with no reference... so I've got plenty of studying to do.
I have no specific style in mind... just want to see where it goes with the human figure.

I really feel like this is what I needed to do right now.

I feel like if I can buckle down and really hit all this anatomy and figure stuff right off the bat...at the very least I'll have a solid foundation to build of.

thanks man. I am trying hard. My biggest concern is just slipping back into not drawing....these quick studies seem to keep my interest and make me feel like I am being productive. I am drawing anywhere from 3 to 6 hours a day..it's not great but it's a step in the right direction.

and I am learning and remembering stuff....that's the most important thing.

Hey thanks a lot.

I am just beginning basically. I spent about 16 months (about 2 years ago) learning what I know now...and then I stopped drawing completely around summer or 2006. I've just been back again practicing now for about 6 days.

I love cartoony art...but I seem to learn more towards this other thing so that's what I am going to try and develop.

Yeah I love this style of art, but the more cartoony style just seems easier for me.
