# About me
My name is Alessandro Mondaini, I was born in Ancona (Italy) in 1974. I live in Manchester (UK) I'm a freelance digital artist with more than 18 years experience. I started this amazing job in the late 80's when I was just a kid. I began working with graphics before the computer era, using films, transfer fonts and of course pencils and pantone colors, I will never forget the unique aroma of these very expensive colours. I was introduced to my first Macintosh in early the early 90's thanks to my friend Zart. When all the other kids were asking their parents for money for a new car, I was working with graffiti art in various clubs and I bought my Macintosh LC1 and after that my life totally changed.Current Residence: Manchester, UK

But seriously, I'm nowhere near what you've got going on. I don't think I could EVER vector something like what I see in your gallery, at least not at my current level. Maybe I'll get there, some day, but by then I bet you'll be even better too!

It's not very difficult to vectorialize something like i did.
You need only 3 things:
1)Illustrator PEN tool
2)Use Layers
3)Time
I never use automatic conversions because you can't have full control of what you doing...the trick is do piece by piece in layers (body colour, outline, details, shadows) to do this you have to "isolate" the elements in your mind and then use the PEN tool with bezier curves.
I use illustrator since 1992 that's why i master this software, the only thing you need is try, is not very difficult.
Anyway...when i was 19...i was a shit...very far from your quality..heheheh..so you are in the right path
