# About me
I like to write, probably more than anything else. I've been writing ever since I was a little kid, from poems to short storier to novels (admittedly unfinished), and more important than any of that, I honestly only feel like I've gotten better with my writings because other people have told me so. I'm not sure how I feel about my own writings, especially when comparing them to other greater works, so I usually go back to my initial reasoning for why I write; it feels pretty good. When I'm upset or stressed, I find myself typing words on a bright LED screen for upwards of a few hours somehow relaxing. If you find some of what I write childish or sub-par (which I sometimes do), I apologize, but in the end, I only write because it makes me feel good. Anything worthwhile coming out of that is just extra icing on my already iced-cake.I also like to draw; loosely termed, for me. Honestly, the few illustrations I do are nothing more than slightly over-complicated doodles. To me, they are all doodles. ALL OF THEM. So, like with my writings (but even more so), don't expect anything grand, just... doodles. In the end, they make me happy, like everything else I do in my spare time. I also like to take pictures, but I hardly have training in any form of photography basics (I use a basic KODAC digital camera, and haven't even taken a photography class, ever). But, as I've said and will say again, what I do, it feels good, so I'll just go on and keep doing it.
(Though I will say that quite contrary to what I JUST said, I do believe that who you are defines what you do...)
All in all, I'm very excited (----EXICIT-----------ED!) about posting my stuff on this site, and looking at other folk's stuff as well as getting their input. If you want to give my stuff a look, feel free, and if you tell me who you are, I'll look at your stuff too.
All in all, I'm pretty friendly, and completely honest with what I like to do. Keep writing, drawing, painting, snapping, etching... whatever! Art is expression in its most powerful form; don't lose your passion.

I'm working on a few bigger pictures, with more time spent on details and pre-planning the picture before I put pen to paper. My goal is to get some pictures finished by this November that are quality enough to sell at a local art walk.
...but I'm going to start doing some more simple drawings, I think, because a lot of people are responding to those more than my bigger stuff. Once I figure a good watermark, I'll start posting those up here, too. If I don't, I'll miss out on feedback, which I really would miss.

Why bother with a watermark? I say keep art free and accessible.

Only on some of them, the ones that I'll be trying to sell in person. (I think it's unfair to those who buy them if the exact same picture is free to download online).
My opinion on that issue is that if I can make a living off of it, I won't need a job, and can spend more time drawing, and making more un-watermarked pictures.

I agree exactly; too much restriction doesn't promote growth. I believe in a gray area, and that's why most of my stuff thus-far is un-watermarked.
