Thanks! I still float about but I haven't posted anything here in a long time. Been using my main site for that and trying to drive visitors to there. Still want to keep up a presence here though (got a commission from an amazing client last year due to them seeing my profile on here).....

Very cool. I would recommend posting cropped thumbnails of your work here on DA with a link to your site. That way, anyone who follows you her will be aware of your activity and work. It's worked for friends of mine. Good way to promote your site, I think. Just a thought.

Cheers, never thought of that! I could put up the thumbnails I use on the front page of the site as a teaser of the eejit, linking it to the main site. Do you think it would work that way? Or are those thumbnails too obscure?

I don't think they're too obscure.
Another possibility, my friend likes to post the sketchy rough drafts of his characters and provide a link to the main site with the full-color versions.

I can make flat patterns at work so can fart about with the shapes. Then it's a case of trying to put a character to the shape. It's good fun. He'll be the first of a few.....

haha im just the art guy but I see apps like that all the time. I do know a guy that can do it but he charges 3 or 4 grand.. that's why I just have to learn myself I guess?? lol there is a games studio maker that makes apps, if you have the time to mull it over I think you can do stuff like that on there??

Man, it was busy, busy time there loon. Not made any easier by the speed I work at! But at least I get a break for a couple o' weeks before I have another commission to do for the first week in January!
