Hm. Not bad. I ACTUALLY felt very anxious for them. I was a bit amused that you mainly referred to the characters the way Bill would have. Some people forget about perspective when writing from the third-person. No spelling errors, let alone ones that would detract from meaning. Overall, I'm rather impressed. Good on ye, mate!

And yes, yes it IS pretty hard to convey feelings sometimes. I watch Gravity Falls, so I came in with pre-conceived sympathy for the characters; you will not have that much luck with someone outside the fan-base, but I'm sure that was obvious. Even when you do all you can to set up the moment, sometimes it feels cliched, other times it just falls flat.
Just look at BTB sometime. I'm sure there are moments where you'll be like "okay WHAT exactly is going on?" Even moreso if you haven't read the Sonic the Hedgehog comics.
I have faith in you though. Keep practicing and developing your skill and you'll get there.

Btw, since you like Undertale so much, I'll tell you that some of my friends and I have been developing a game called BAVA that's had a lot of inspiration from Undertale, although it will probably not be as good....
Anyway, so since the characters are based off of people we know in real life, would you like to have a character based off of you? All you have to do is give me permission. ^-^
But you know, it might take QUITE a while to release the game if we ever do xD

Can I still be interactive, though? Like have dialogue? I don't gotta have any huge role, of course, just a few lines that change with the storyline. You know how the people's lines changed in Undertale based on your route or how far you were in the story? Something like that.
Hey, what if I wasn't really a hotel owner though, but a funny hobo who rolled his bed around with him. Or I could be a person trying to start up a hotel business by rolling a bed around. Like weird version of the Nicecream man. At one point you might find my character at the bottom of a hill with the bed fallen on top of them and the player could have the option to help me or not.
I'm just spitting out ideas.
Actually, I want to know more about BAVA itself. How's the story go? Does BAVA stand for something? If I know that, I could offer some more useful ideas.

You can be called whoever you want, I like Mimi. I like both ideas, but you'd have to be in more than one place at once, kind a like nurse joy from the Pokemon games. Any ideas?
BAVA is still in development and it has been in development since around mid-November. The main character is a teenager named Bryce, and his childhood friends. They live in a city on a small world where a comet is said to crash into in a few months. There have been rumors that the comet and their fates has something to do with the power plant on the far west of the city. The group try to travel there soon. A new individual shows up called Ava, and the group of friends feel like they've met her before. But Ava acts like a snob at first and hangs out with the stereo typical cheerleaders, but boy, are all of them in for a surprise. If you want to know more, please comment on my profile! ^-^ please!!!
