# About me
Just your run of the mill science student. I like to write (badly...) sometimes. I like poetry. Second to poetry, my favorite kind of literature is southern gothic. Historical fiction is also fun. I am friendly and don't bite, so feel free to talk to me, comment, shoot me a note, whatever.# Comments

Hey. Just because I quit writing for ages doesn't mean it's cool.

Thank you for faving Taken. It means a lot to me!Β
TakenIt was just a strategic readjustment.
It was just a necessary tactical move.
It was just your finger moving half an inch left
and curling slightly.
It was just the centimeter or two of difference
between the moment that just was,
and the one that is,
but you reached for my hand
and you took my heart.

No problem You really hit the nail on the head with the "Happy Hour" poem. Β It really struck me. Β Great piece.

Of course! Β It was a beautiful poem on something that I relate to very deeply. Β 4 years ago I weighed 65 pounds, and the struggle is always ongoing. Β You put into beautiful words something that I have a hard time explaining, even to myself.

holy poop, it's good to hear from you. Not that you've been the one MIA (sorry). I kept wanting to get back on here, but wouldn't let myself until I wrote something down. I probably should't do that, haha, even if I don't have anything I still wanna stay in touch with you

and I can do the same. I've had a horrible writer's block lately though, I've gotten into the habit of writing journals moreso than poems. And the poems I manage to write I usually get a few lines down and then never finish. But, oh well. I'll take it as it comes, haha.

Hey, if you want we could collaborate. Fresh perspectives are always good grounds for inspiration. I've been really keen on working with other writers lately because I'm bored of my stuff. I have near 200 pieces on here from the last year alone and it got old fast :/ To be honest though, I can't possibly match your style.

That would be amazing, I really do miss being able to write. Two-hundred pieces, though? That's incredible. I'm turtle slow with everthing, haha. And our writing styles are different, but I really admire yours because of it. You get creative with the rhyme scheme, and I always go with a pretty plain, simple pattern. Or just free-verse it. It's like I just can't work with anything other than the tried and true, but I'd like to be able to bring myself to change things up a bit.

I feel the same way. What you see in my writing is me stuck in a rut. I can't escape that monotonous flow of rhymes and it carries through everything I do. I wish I could write like you.

Tradesies? Haha. But seriously, whenever you find the time, we should work on something, maybe? I think I could learn a lot more from you than you me, because I don't even know what I'm doing half the time myself, but, yeah.

As if I do ^.^ Nothing I write is planned. I just sit down, start writing and hope for the best I'm free a lot of the time since I moved back home. Just let me know. Not now though, because I really should get to bed soon.
