hahaha. actually i got birthday "doughnuts" this year. krispy kreme triple chocolate, chocolate iced custard filled, and some original glazed… coffee and birthday doughnuts is a good way to start a birthday. i had cake last year. ha

I don't know if you follow Naruto, because I notice lots of ninja references here but I'm not sure if you're a fan xD
But if so, how do you feel about the series ending? And if not, does the series ending mean anything to you?

I found out about Naruto after picking up a Shonen Jump Magazine with Dragonball Z on the cover. I picked it up for Goku, but found Naruto inside. And I thought, what is this?? Ninjas??? I must read this epicness!
And so, Naruto was one of the first manga I bought, like really bought, and followed, volume after volume after volume, and waited eagerly for the new books to be released here in the US.
I have to admit though, I wasn't a huge fan of shippuden. The series started going downhill for me after Sasuke left the village… it kind of faltered… and then it just seemed to drag on and on.
Eventually I stopped reading.
And then I heard it was ending. And I though yeah right. But there were things I needed to know. Stuff I had to find out. I needed closure… so I started reading it again here and there. A buddy of mine is super into Naruto, so he filled me in on a lot of things I missed. And I watched some anime and I read on my own.
And I read the end. I read #700 the other day. And I have to say, it was quite a bit less than what I expected. It was in full color, but still. You can tell Kishimoto sensei is tired of drawing it.
And then there is the new movie, which is supposed to be why they ended the manga the way they did… they want you to want more and watch the movie… but still. it was no Dragonball Z that's for sure.
My love for ninjas goes way farther back than Naruto… but I will always love Naruto's ninja world.

Sorry for not getting to this sooner, but thanks for answering. I found it pretty cool to hear your thoughts about the matter.
He's starting a continuation back up in the spring, with Naruto's kid; I wonder if it will be better now that he got his much needed rest? Who knows.
