sure you read my journal in time. i want an SLR because i want to try something new, something more professional feeling.
the grass picture says 'you'll be cute when it's all over' because once the bird hatches from it's shell, it might be wet and ugly but soon it will dry and be darling.

Thanks for the kind words about my work. I'm glad you find it interesting. I like your pics too, especially the one of the bird looking out at the grass. Thanks for explaining that. Must have been late at night so it didn't occur to me what it meant.
As far as the cameras go, and I don't know if you bought one yet but I'm partial to the Canon line of DSLRs myself. Don't know if they dominate the SLR market as well but I would try and go for a Canon seeing as you can always use the lenses later on if you decide to go digital.
I myself don't have a DSLR but a prosumer Fuji camera which I would trade in for a Canon DSLR if given the opportunity but there are other things I'm saving up for so that will have to wait.
Good luck with whatever you choose. I'll enjoy looking at your work regardless of which cam you use I'm sure.

you seem to be very good with blender.
I'm surprised that you don't have more 3d deviations.
why don't you post more of your renders.
at least you shoud put some of them in your scraps.

toomuchkitty, thanks for the compliment on my blender skills. I don't think I'm that good but slowly gettin there.
I haven't really done much else in blender especially lately. Was preoccupied with other things recently. I do have some ideas in mind for my next blend so stay tuned for something new in perhaps a couple of days.

thanks for the comment on my bracelet! you rock, and really.. that render is so dodge, its the first image i made in maya, and because i didnt know how to use maya.. when i had completed it the file was like 100meg, and i couldnt even render it - my bad.
so thats as much as i could render.
