I live in Philadelphia. I've been drawing for ever. I'm pretty underrated as an artist. It's often frustrating to see some artist grow strong popular and financially stable around you while you flounder. More so when you know your are near as good, as good as, or better then those who are prospering. That is what happens when you don't put all of you behind your art, and that what I'm learning to do now# Comments

yeah, we probably know alot of the same people too. You ever hear of the Xion network? we should hang out some time. and trade some character pin ups? I really like that Nia character. so many possibilities. you print a book with her yet?

Yeah I hung out with the Xion group once or twice. Cool group of people...I kind of wish there were more get-togethers but people seem to be spending a lot more time getting goals accomplished, which is where I'm trying to be as well.
It'd be cool to get together sometime--I really have no local artistic friends at all (being a family man + full time worker + budding indie artist makes socializing a challenge).
As for Nia, glad you like her. The only work I've published featuring her is this [link] her core story, available both in print and Kindle. I've been wanting to make a graphic novel out of that, but I want to make a graphic novel out of everything and it's a challenge picking the right project. I always stop myself because I don't know if Nia is worthwhile compared to my other ideas now that I've finished her book. Keep trying to enhance and promote one project or move onto the next one? That's always my dilemma.

Yeah that can be a struggle, i wish i had noticed your reply earlier. I'm almost done with kacela. then i'll be doing the same thing. I don't know if you go to conventions but thats a good way to promote. Also hitting up different sites. i say this knowing i need to do more promotion as well. And hanging out is cool i just have to find the time.
