It's fantastic. beyond description.
In my hometown you can see moden buildings, but still dotted with old,traditional houses.
There are a lot of cities like this in the east.
China is large. There are also many other places different from my hometown.
I really hope you and many more foreign friends come to visit China, because only by that can you truly know her.

I'm planning to apply for a university in US or somewhere else after my graduate, in case I can't find a job
Anyway, yes, I'm going to end my life here and so are most Chinese people.

When did ur friend come here? During the Olympic I guess?
I know it was very strict last year, especially in the north.

I'm glad to see that, because many years ago many people thought China was a poor country and west countries were better and something like this. Now it's better. I think it's due to China's fast development and the spread of education.
But Chinese people are still kind of modest. It's related to our culture. Oh,it's really hard to describe@_@

Er...job...good question. this has been annoying me for a long time. I wanna be a designer but I draw poorly X( So I'm heading on office lady, doing some paperwork, whatever. I'm not as ambitious on this aspect as on traveling and playing

Aha~ most people can speak English more or less. If you can speak English you'll take advantage on hunting for jobs. So I hope my major will be helpful.
To tell you the truth, before I start my global journey I'd like to travel around China. You know she is sooooo large and what I've seen about her is just a corner of iceburg. Indeed many things are happening here and people are doing well, but that's not enough. I mean, you can see fashion, modern cities in my area, but meanwhile there are still some places not so well developed. I wanna see these places and I really hope we can be better in the future.

Maybe, you should have a job as an office lady then when you have a good amount of money, start to be an artist and travel all over the world. Or even be a photographer! Like for National Geographics! :D
My friend told me that they keep their fancy cameras on all the time so they won't ever miss a chance to take a shot of something, which sounds awesome. She also introduced me to her friend that wants to be a photographer for them and she says she needs to charge her battery ever three hours! 0:

Yes!That's exactly what I want to do and what I am already doing.
I carry my little DC in my bag every day, though it's just a idiot camera I love shooting flowers and you know, my campus is like a huuuuuuuuge garden so everyday when I'm walking on the road I shoot all along the road.
My friends call me an "anthomaniac". HAHA~it is a tricky word."花痴"is its Chinese equivalent. But what's funny is that when we say it we are not saying someone has an extravagant passion for flowers. Instead, if a girl is keen on every good-looking boy in our school, we will call her a "花痴". and now, they use it on me~~~~
