My suggestion was that the roleplayers keep the characters a little more . . . in-character. I mean, don't get me wrong, I think the Facebook page is really awesome. But what I noticed is part of what makes roleplay statuses funny in other fandoms is the idea that these characters have facebooks and seeing them interact on them. Some of the rps that have been posted are a little OOC and support/revolve around ships. The rp-ers are doing a good job right now, but if they were a little more true to who these characters already are, it'd be a little more believable and funny.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating or flaming!!! I like the idea of a AA FB page, but I just thought I'd suggest that.

I actually think we were slipping a little with that as well- I'm in a different time zone from other roleplayers, so when I'm not around they think of these things XD I've shared this feedback with the group- Thank you for the wake-up call!
Don't worry. No one thought you were hating or flaming

My teacher was awesome too XD That was my best year of Science so far. I'm considering some Chem papers in Uni next year because of it. Chemistry is awesome, and the jokes can be utterly hilarious XD WOO fellow Chem lover!

AWESOME! I never took bio, though I should've....I did Physics instead. What's it like? (I'm not a science lover, nooooo.....>.>)

ithinkiknow In reply to Groundshock [2011-11-22 06:39:21 +0000 UTC]
Meh. I'm struggling because I've never taken Biology before and I went straight to AP. Not doing so good. They move faster than I can retain because the assumption is that everyone should have had Bio by now.

Groundshock In reply to ithinkiknow [2011-11-22 23:45:25 +0000 UTC]
....Considering I most likely live in another Country to you, could you explain what AP is? In our school, we have just the class. I mean, if you're advanced then you go into the year above's class. Like me, I did Form 7 Chem and Phys, Last year, when I was in Form 6. Yay for Year 13 science in year 12... XD

ithinkiknow In reply to Groundshock [2011-11-26 00:02:42 +0000 UTC]
AP = Advanced Placement. It's a class that you can take for history, language, science, etc. that is at a college level and moves at a college-level pace. You take a test towards the end of the year in the class and depending on your score, you can get the college credit for that course while in high school and not have to take it again in college.

Geez, that's useful. Wish I had that for University. Instead, I'm just going in and doing normal Uni XD
Then again, I'm going to do an LLB and a BSc......

What's "Uni, LLB, and BSC??"
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Groundshock In reply to ithinkiknow [2011-12-11 04:17:47 +0000 UTC]
Uni = University. LLB is short for a Bachelors Degree in Law (The actual phrase is some latin one I don't know) and a BSc is a Bachelors Degree in Science. They're undergraduate degrees at University.

Yeah, it'd be nice if everywhere just adhered to one centralized system. And much easier. Having worldwide transferable degrees would be a valuable asset.

Yeah, Double Majors are a big workload (I should know haha XD we started yesterday)
I just spent two hours studying University Calculus XD
Patent Law, IP Law, Web Design, Software Engineering, Litigation, Forensic Computing, Forensic Law......Family Law, Wills & Trusts. That sort of thing. Oh and also Forensic Accounting. And very maybe, Neuropsychology.
What about you?

Ahh, okay. Yeah, I graduated last year.....Working on different time-frames is confusing.
My Laws lectures are proving to be awesome. And I'm enjoying learning so much stuff that I find interesting, as opposed to school. Like programming. And Law haha.

Programming and law . . . how would you be able to combine the two for a career? lol.

Groundshock In reply to ithinkiknow [2012-03-02 08:14:00 +0000 UTC]
I dream for a day when someone doesn't ask me that....sorry, every time I tell someone, they always ask me that. With the exception of the Deputy head of the Halls of Residence I'm staying in, he knew straight away.
Think about it, I could do consultancy with software companies, there's all the new laws to do with piracy so I could go into litigation or criminal law, I could do IP law or patent law. I could do Programming and then make the licenses for the program too, I could do forensic computing, I could develop the laws for the internet and jurisdiction around the internet and internet crimes. I could create tracking software for the police and filters for those who wish to take down sites with objectionable material, I could work for software and torrent companies to help them comply to the law, or help find loopholes for them. I could just consult law with businesses, and even just go plain law and do family business litigation criminal or corporate. I could go plain computing and design programs and networks and databases for companies and manage servers networks or databases for companies, I could work independently or I could work for a firm.
Currently, there are so many ways, its a wonder no-one actually can see them XD

ithinkiknow In reply to Groundshock [2012-03-07 21:34:15 +0000 UTC]
Well, that makes sense. I didn't mean it in an offensive way when I asked, I was honestly wondering because actually, I want to double major in two subject areas that are completely unrelated. I don't think anyone would see the correlation between chemistry and communications. lol.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Groundshock In reply to ithinkiknow [2012-03-08 06:51:59 +0000 UTC]
All good, sorry haha, I was just a little frustrated.
Yeah, perhaps they may seem unrelated at the time, but there's always options.
Chem and Communications? That would be fun, I can see a couple of marketing jobs there. Such as working for labeling companies for foods and pharmaceuticals. Or working on tv, as a chemistry advisor to shows? You could also work with publicity for renewable energy sources, or developing the chemical aspect of genetic engineering.....There's a fair few ideas there, for sure. I wish you the best of luck with that! That sounds awesome!
