Going for med school? Excellent! Good luck! Just stay away from radiology when specializing... that should scoot you around some of the worst physics. I've worked with med students and I know it can be tough... but I'm sure you'll be just fine!
Your french seems pretty good to me, but then again I stopped taking it after high school too... which is why I'm trying to practice a bit on DA. Latin will certainly help with the vocabulary on romance languages (hence the name)... although I imagine it's more useful for you right now for understanding medical terminology. ^^
