These meerkats are used to people, and climbing on top of things is natural meerkat behavior. This is (I was told) the same meerkat that was climbing on Sir David Attenborough when he was filming there (www.naturepl.com/stock-photo-s… ).

Just curious, how many meerkat mobs had you seen? I know you seen the lazuli and Whiskers, but did you see the Friskys, Moomins, and the lost groups?

I visited the Moomins in 2003 (also Gatacca and Elveera).

This year I also visited Jaxx, Kung Fu, Sequoia, Toyota, Drie Doring, Cavemen, Uberkatz, Ewoks, Van Helsing, Mayans.

But in the Drie Doring did you happen to see Cookiecutter? Patch can be seen anywhere but what about her sister?

Start a research project where people will be following the meerkats around all day every day, and after 20 years the meerkats will be happy to come and stand on your head.

It's easier if somebody else has already done the 20 years of following the meerkats around :) (Smile)
