# About me

I love comics and cartoons. While I don't have enough free time to draw as much as I need to practice, I sometimes get spurts of motivation to color other people's line artworks. My favorite style to color are "cartoony" superheroes with nice clean pencils. I've digitally inked before using my Wacom tablet and Adobe Illustrator, but since I'm usually pressed for time, I usually do a quick Adobe Illustrator automated "trace" on pencils (after cleaning the artwork using Photoshop to remove artifacts) to get a decent digital inking before exporting into Adobe Photoshop for coloring and touch ups.

For coloring, if you have an original character that you'd like me to color, just send me a note. As long as I have free time, then I should be able to color it. I prefer superheroes (Mutants & Masterminds RPG OCs are even better!), but I'm also a huge fan of sci-fi and fantasy.

Hi James, I see you've got a pretty strong color gallery going on! If you're looking to push your work even more I thought it'd be worth making sure you know about the HiFi Color for Comics Kickstarter. The book has been updated from the original publication and has already passed it's first stretch goal.

Future goals will see new content like color theory for comics, coloring toned artwork and coloring for the web amongst others coming alongside new artwork from creators such as J Scott Campbell, Katie Cook & Humberto Ramos to name but 3.

I did do a piece (Earth Demoness) that was asked to be submitted to M&M, it was a minion-summon a character had. Sweating a little...
