Nope , I graduated from ITE Dover sometime back in 2001.
Got my Higher Nitec in Information Technology .
Then went into Republic Poly in 2006. Majoring in Design in interactivity.
Bad Choice of school RP suxx ...

Honestly , unless you're really talented in design or u have a huge passion , so huge that if you don't do design as a career , you will die. Try not to go into design .
You won't find a good paying design job in Singapore ,and after awhile you'll end up doing some non design related jobs.
I learnt it the hard way.
Visual Merchandising wise , you can probably go into resort management or some other PR course which will have a huge prospect .

The only thing that can keep me afloat right now is in THIS design course because this is the only course I can choose that is art related. After this , I'm intending to head for Illustration or animation. I cannot survive in business. Chop stamped. Any ideas?

Then NAFA would be a better choice .
From what I know ,LASALLE is a place for fun and games .
Plus NAFA is more recognized.
But bear in mind the crazy school fees.
Probably have to sell yourself to pay for it.
Look for scholarships. Seems to be alot floating around recently for art students. But see if there are any strings attatched.

Poly wise , avoid RP ...
Unless you're desperate and its the only poly that wants you .
Like me la , i have a Bad GPA for my Higher Nitec ,2.4 only.
Plus I have no idea about the RP teaching method , thinking it was like other poly . But i still got a GPA of 3.4 from RP even thou I learnt nothing.

I would prefer SP for my first choice , then Nanyang and lastly Nee Ann.
For design .
