In my opinion, your works might benefit from more contrast and/or shading. Considering your liking for the fantasy genre, it should help accent your variety of textures and curvature.

Thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed my work You've definitely got potential to do some great stuff around here, especially once you get the hang of photoshop's features and all. If you want some great pointers on photoshop, check out [link] under the dragon paint section, the girl who runs that site does an awesome job with her walk through stuff, it's where I learned the basics. Also just playing around with the various features will teach you a lot, and messing with multilayer opacity settings really helps. Good luck
