Well, I do adore Videl/Gohan actually. They're a sweet couple aren't they?
My fav moment betwen those two was in the Broly:2nd coming movie, where Videl chases Gohan for hiding something from her. Gotta love the look Gohan had.

you have a good gallery going here, but a lot of your pieces look as though they need a background
in particular the scenarios, they look very incomplete without a background
but your attention to anatomy and facial expressions is very very good, keep it up

Do you know any good sites that show how to make proper backgrounds? I suck big time when it comes to drawing them, so I never tried.

they dont havta be detailed, even if they are just sky or blurry forest or like a fairly empty room, all im saying is that when they are just left white they look very incomplete

errrm oil pastels and acrylic paint are easy to blend and give scrummy bold colours, or you could just use pencil colours but use them paler than your characters so as not to take attention away from them

oil pastels give a much stronger colour, as oposed to what are called 'pastel colours' lol but if you wanted the background to look pale then chalk pastels would be your best bet
