Very nice ideas you have, my ideas come/go/morph too fast for me to keep track of, so I tend to draw a blank as soon as my hand reaches a pencil (despite them being at arm's length, /duh). Also, wow at the wall, I guess you actually own the place, so no landlord to go ballistic on you for doing it.

the mickey shoes i had to do a little differently because they were black. i primed everything first with a mixture of white acrylic and a matte medium (half and half, to thin it out some) markers seem to work the best on canvas shoes, paint must be applied in very few, thin coats. i have been experimenting with finish coats and so far, kiwi- shoe waterproofer/sealer has outperformed my other gloss/matte aerosol fixers.
