/comes back around to DA and sees your new work

Very interesting work once again! You are very intriguing to me! ...what with the mix of asphyxiation, apparently dead animals, transvestism and yet...flowers and kitty cats. *hmmmm*

I may need to go follow you on Twitter too. I may find more clue regarding you there, eh?

Thank you again for posting your work (your life?) again!

/tips his hat to you (c:

Thank you so much for the comment, it's rather enlightening to hear that someone finds my fascination for the mundane rather interesting. I'm not quite sure what to say in reply.. from an early age I discovered that conventional topics of interest weren't really my thing. To correct you, the apparent dead animals are actually dead animals. My University caters mainly to agricultural studies and we have a horse pit where majority of the waste is dumped. Interesting, huh? When my friend discovered it I knew I had to take photos. Yes, by all mean, feel free to follow me on Twitter. Majority of what I post on there is just useless junk, but you may be able to find something interesting about me.

Don't want to sound like a butthurt, but to avoid you getting into trouble with the people on here, you may want to put a mature filter on Erotic Asphyxiation and (2). Thanks for understanding.

Considering you're the only person who has mentioned the need for a mature filter, I'll take my chances on this one.

It's not like I was being rude, so I would appreciate some respect. Some other people may find this disturbing. If one person finds this disturbing, the chances are, there will be others who find it offensive or such. Moreover, I suspect you will reply with something on the lines of "Then stay off my page, you wont see it."- whereas my reply in advance is that as a fellow art enthusiast, I was wanting to see what people in the world had to offer as art. Whilst viewing your work, I came across two "suggestive","extreme" images. These, if came across by younger viewers, could be upsetting. Please bear in mind that deviantART is open to anyone over 13 years of age. If the images had a mature content warning on, it would warn the person, and then give them a choice whether to view it or not. This would then not put you in a position of displaying unsuitable images to children or those who could be offended, disturbed or upset by these images. Moreover, I believe you should also have another warning on your profile- RUDE. Thanks

Why would you assume that I'd tell you to stay off my profile? As a fellow Art enthusiast, feel free to browse my work whenever you see fit.

Sincerely, Rude Bitch.

I assumed it because that's what most people would say if someone found your work offensive. Since you are as mainstream as any other offensive artist, it wouldn't surprise me.

jmitropoulos In reply to Alannah-mae [2012-08-16 12:43:15 +0000 UTC]

No, you shouldn't. You're only bias against my work because I said something negative about the image your friend posted on her profile. With that in mind, I'm not going to satisfy your needs because you cannot handle simple criticism.

Alannah-mae In reply to jmitropoulos [2012-08-17 10:38:18 +0000 UTC]

There was no criticism?! We didn't really care about that. I was just suggesting that you should put a filter on as a young or sensitive person may come along and find it offensive or disturbing. I have nothing against you except for the fact you refuse to put a filter on. I believe erotic asphyxiation is mature content. I don;t understand why you can't put a simple filter on. I understand that is your style on here, but some people will not appreciate the fact. With a filter on, you wouldn't have to worry about someone reporting you for indecent images. I don't see how me suggesting this is offensive to you.

I understand where you're coming from, I do, but if someone types in a key word that directs them towards my images then I cannot be to blame for their sensitivity. The news and countless action movies are full of confronting imagery, every day we hear about teenagers killing others or being killed, yet something I would consider 'Art' or 'Self Expression' should be given a filter because someone is disturbed by reality? I didn't choose to study a three year photography degree at University just to shove WARNINGS on top of my images, if this website is about freedom of expression then I have the choice not to censor my work.

But say in the instance of someone coming across your profile? They may be interested in some of your work- from what I've seen, your range is pretty diverse. They will want to see more and BAM! Erotic Asphyxiation pops up. I agree, if they type in a keyword and find it- it's their fault. But, art or not, it would be safer with a warning, especially if they only see it when going through your galleries. I understand that you would find it better without a warning, but there are young people on here. I do like some of your work, and I'm sure others will, but seeing something like that without a warning can cause offense to some people. The filter would save you from a lot of people being put off of viewing your work in fear of finding something like that again.
