I'm so pleased that you enjoy my art and get insprired by it. Creativity is very important to me.
I find music helps a lot to get inspired (especially Mozart), and drawing every day is good. I also find making mandalas is a good exercise for creativity. Best of luck to you with your art!

I was also on a trip. I had a great time. I painted some. I also have not got them posted yet. It was a great week at a resort with natural hot springs. We had a wonderful time. My wife went back to work so we are getting used to that. But all in all things are great. I am glad to hear your doing good. I cant wait to see you new paintings. Your so good.

I'm so glad you had fun on your trip ~ Sounds wonderful with the natural hot springs! That's something I would like to plan into a trip sometime ~ Sounds inviting! I hope things are calming down for you and your wife ~ It's always hard to adjust at first but you'll get into the swing of things in no time. I noticed you put some pics on here ~ I'll check them out a little later tonight. Thanks for the compliment on my paintings ~ That means alot! Okay ~ I'm back ~ Here goes. I entered an art contest last month in Tarpon Springs ~ It was for an art gallery called "Art on the docks". There were approximately 30 entries with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons and prizes being given. The paintings were on display for a couple of weeks and patrons voted for their favorites and then the town officials including the mayor voted on the last day. Well guess what? I won 1st place!!!!! I am still so excited about it. I also was quoted in the paper before the contest ended. Yipee!!! I'll have to show you the painting and some of the pictures from the artist reception. I would post it tonight but my sis is flying in and we have to pick her up at the airport EARLY tomorrow. I can't wait to see her! I'll let you know when I post it. Okay ~ That's my exciting news. I can't wait to check out your new stuff!

oh and Halloween...gees! It's been panicky around here!!! I know
what you mean by getting used to some one working..it's nuts!
Congrats to your wife, I am sure going back to work is good for her
and it always makes the heart grow fonder when they are away!

Are you going to post anything new soon? And what are your little
girls going tricker treating as?! I am wanting to see pics of everyone!

Don't worry about me. You would be one of the first people I would tell if something was wrong. My neice the one that your working on the photo of. She lost her little dog yesterday. She is so upset. Some how he got parvo. Carly is going as a CowGirl. We are having a big Harvest Party at our church. It is going to be a carnaval type thing different events in different rooms. We rented the big Sumo Wrestler suits the one's that blow up. So people can Sumo Wrestle. Should be a blast. As for painting I have not had time. I am working on a piece that is for someone but it has been making me crazy. I can't get it to flow right. Also when you have time check out the YouTube I have posted on myspace or testriffic. It is really awesome. Thanks for thinking of me friend. Stay well and take care.

Aw no, tell her I'm sorry. Losing a pet can
be so hard! I am obsessed and totally in
love with my cat of almost 9 years!

Halloween was so much fun, we had a
great night and I bet Carly was adorable!
painting can be crazy at times and when I was
at loss for ideas and when things didn't go
how I saw them I always stared at it for
days and finally it hit me.

I think if you start at something for so long
it looks like something else and it worked for me.
I would like to see it when you are finished. What
is it of? I am going to check on your you tube after
I log back in to TR, the last one you posted was

Hey LaJean. I havent had time to paint to much. I have been taking to many photo's of my niece and her friends. They are all graduating and need senior photo's so I am trying to help them out. Because they are so expensive. So my creative energy has been going there. But I love photography and I am glad to help them all out.
