Well I have no real style I just threw down stuff randomly. Thats why my profile is all over the place

Ummm thats a long story.

The lines are created in inkscape a vector program. What you do is you find a picture. To make a good version with this style you have to find a picture that the main object takes up the whole picture. (Basically know random space... Like you see the hand...the whole hand is the picture. Or the girls face...the whole face is the picture. There is not much back ground/other stuff in the picture)

Then you tailor the boxes/lines to the picture. IE. What you want emphasized gets a big boxes. (IE the eye for the girl got a nice box)

Once you emphasize what you want with big boxes you make tiny small spaces with the lines and small/thin boxes. (You do this because you want to have freedom with the drop shadow effect later in the process)

You then put a gradient as the bottom layer

The unedited versin of the picture you are editing, IE the hands, above it with a mode set to overlay. The gradient should be simple black to silver to gray to white

The picture you make black and white.

Then you open up your line image and place it on top of the picture. Select the spaces of the lines and then go to the picture layer, IE the hands, and copy. Then paste and add a drop shadow to it three of 4 times.

Then go to the line image and add drop shadows to all or most of the spaces/lines three of 4 times.

Then simply get a grunge texture. (Nothing with big designs something with small designs)

Put it over everything. Desaturate it. Then put it to layer mode divide. Then duplicate it and colorize it and lower the duplicated layers opacity.

If you want to make it a lil nicer. Duplicate the original and drop shadowed image. Gaussian blur them then add a divide layer effect to them...and thats how I did it.
