My work has really taken off, If you're looking for models, have you checked out anything like www.modelmayhem.com? there are tons of aspiring models looking for photographers all over the world that use that site, some will trade for portfolio work. It's not all that daunting, create a profile and see what happens

I have tried to get on that site, but for whatever reason they do not like my profile lol. I think it is because I have no portrait photos to add an that is one of their reqs

Yeah they're very picky. Also I would take the time to write a long bio, sometimes ppl may not have many portraits, but if you explain why in the bio, that could sell you. Craigslist works also. a bit creepy, lol, but it works sometimes. Good luck!

Yeah its an idea. I am always open to be my own model. I don't know though I know how I would do the millions of ideas in my head with a model but I have no clue how I would pull them off on my own ya know. I am hoping a contact comes through from DA actually. She does photography and works with models all the time and has offered to let me sit in and maybe try taking a few. I though I had a contact as well but she has since gone silent on the idea.
I guess it is how life flows, I put in a email or message to the mods on MM so I will see what they say.

When you have some spare time, go ahead and look up some of the Eric Draven photography. It isn't nearly poised and whatnot. (<- I tend to have a lack of appropriate diction for photography. lol)
