i am a chinese.
and i have been to uk for some time. there are a lot of people don't like chinese government.they totally say something wrong.
ABOUT TIBET:
i don't want say nothing about thier freedom.
i just want to tell u.my classmate's father was killed by them..they use knife to ___ass.i was scared.and then also kill some tibetians.and many polices were killed.some grils form sichun,china were burned by them.and Dalai is a stupid person.he has never been educated.also cause US give them money to do anti-chinese.so.,they must do something to our government,or he has no money to live ..so..he is really stupid.
PS. 1.read something about Dalai.

dude you gotta understand, the people who have the time and resources to be on DA and post these pro-Chinese government messages are mostly the winners of the system and so naturally defend the government... the young generation, whether nationals or, like myself, living overseas, who have witnessed with their own eyes the growth of the Chinese economy in the last 10 or 20 years and have enjoyed the benefits that come with it. I think it's understandable that they don't like the attack on the Chinese government as it feels like a threat to the life they know, a life they enjoy.
The Chinese government will never let Tibet be independent because it would set a precedent for Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Taiwan... and hell why don't all 56 different Chinese ethnicities get their own country? Don't shout Free Tibet, call instead for peace and understanding, for tolerance and respect, only then can this issue be resolved.
BTW, shame about the language barrier... some of these comments I've seen do sound rather O_o

could be, i also think people are fairly intolerant. I this case most people enter the conversation being on one side and are atually jsut looking for a fight and to argument. As i said multiple times im not pro free tibet people assumed it because of the pictures. I stated multiple times my side on this whole debate - human right in every country - abused by the government - but people dont read it and just argue blindly into the crowed. but i am having a great time now
