Sure! My favorite are the prismacolor colored pencils (soft-core). It's important to try to do lots of layers with less pressure or else you get a very glossy look. Also I highly suggest you get a colorless blending pencil which really helps smooth out different colors especially when mixing colors. Another suggestion I would say is that I like to do my lightest colors first and then build to the darker colors (for example, I color all the highlights of the face in white before I start adding the skin tone and then I finish with darker shadows). It's easier to add dark colors than add light colors. Hope that helps!

Hi Julia, I want 2 request u 2 doodle a small girl with long brunette hair wearing her red jacket with a white polo or dress shirt tucked inside her blue shorts, she is wearing black ''Mary Janes(shoes)'' with white socks pulled up & down, also she has on her pink 'old fashioned' nightgown with her barefeet down at the bottom, she's the girl who emotionally in tears bcuz her beloved kitten named ''Spunky'' got 'kitty'-napped by ''Professor Nimnul'' and his ''Mechnical Dogs'' from the debut ''Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers'' episode, ''Catteries Not Included''.
