# About me

I’m self-taught and although I've been drawing on and off for several years, I never made time to do more than a few drawings every 2 or 3 years. When I turned 55 years old I decided it was time to try to improve my drawing skills and see what those hours of practice could do. Since I’m just starting I decided to focus on skill building using old family photos and giving the results as gifts until my drawing skills improve.

I have a BS in Electrical Engineering and worked as a thin films semiconductor engineer in Austin, TX for past 25 years.
