when I was younger I tried to attend an artuniversity but the professor was very strict and told me off because my variation of colouring was not good enough..
it hit me hard but I guess this is one of my biggest motivations right now ^^''
I'm not a professional.. and I don't have the chance to get one because here in Germany universities are very strict and those which are not are very expensive ^^' but for myself as an artist I want to become even better >_<
so this is the only trick I could teach you... never ever give up
I never had an art-education in the first place.. there are great tutorials on deviantart and youtube though

That's amazing, i'm really glad you stuck with it. after all it's really paying off! i love the little details you put in your pieces even in those old drawings, it's truly amazing! i'll never give up, keep working on it and everything and i really appreciate you as an artist and all the work you're putting into it to become even better. if you keep looking around i'm sure you'll find a uni to attend after all you said never give up
