1/14/2016: I have decided to cut back on my writing so I can spend more time with my kids. I guess you could consider me semi-retired, like those people who take a greeting job at Walmart or Home Depot or whatever, just so they still get out of the house. Oh, and I should have my entry ready by Friday. I ended up finding an impromptu beta on a Harry Potter community - of all the places! - who is a fellow Kakasaku shipper and she helped me finish my plot outline.

It's too bad about the turn out, but I know there's been a lot of contests/fests -on lj, on dreamwidth, on tumblr - over the past few months. Most probably need a bit of a breather... that or they're busy with school. It's a bit easier for me now because my kids are finally back in school, but I'm probably the exception.
As for my beta, I don't know if she is or not? I'll have to see!
