Yes. I went and read his journal post where he talked about shutting down for awhile.

I think he's finally let the haters get to him! :/

He made status posts about how distraught he was at the notion that some people actually DON'T like his work; or at about how unneedlessly "drawn out" Applefection was! Maybe all of those "GET TO THE POINT!" comments got to him, too!

Matter of fact, I've told him a few times to not let those comments get the better of him, that every good artist gets their fair share of hate mail.

I guess he's one of those guys who literally CAN'T STAND the fact that there some people out there who actually don't like him! I've learned not to care about that, 'cause I know that there are PLENTY more people who like me than hate me.

I don't know! This could mean that he's on his way out. We'll just have to wait and see what happens next.

I guess so.
Applefection wasn't my favorite, but I was interested in seeing how it would play out, as well as enjoying his pony take on Fallout, and the goofy adventures of the pointy crew.
I suppose we will have to see what ends up happening with all of this. I know what it is to get discouraged as an artist, and it's not fun.
I feel like my art hasn't grown in years and I'm actually getting worse at it as I have so little time and energy for it compared to the past.

Well, I can tell you for a fact that my drawing SUCKS. Whatever artwork that's on my page are gifts from other artists, many of them feature their rendition of my OC.

I used to write stories a lot, though. Most of them are on my DA page. You're more than welcome to read through them!

I could write more stories, but... life always seems to get in the way.

Right? I feel that.
I think that is why I feel like my art has been slipping lately. Life has been keeping me too busy and drained to work on things as much as I'd like.
And sure! I could give them a read through! Can't say I'll be super fast, I mostly read at work, and the WIFI there likes to block DA for some reason. xp

As far as improving art at a more beginner level, looking at tutorials and how other people put things together, such as creating an understructure, helped me. I'm at the point though where finding tutorials don't do much anymore for helping me grow. It's mostly self-driven attempts to get better now. I can still use tutorials for new aspects like I might find some to help with clothing. Getting back into anatomy is just going to be practicing it again.

As far as Pink, I'm still not sure what's going on. I can get updates from him, which means I'm still 'Watching' him, so I'm not blocked... but I can't comment on anything. Really strange, I've never seen this before. xp Usually comments disabled on DA is all or nothing, unless they changed it?
*shrugs* oh well, it's just one less time sink in my morning, I guess. I'll still keep an eye on what's going on. I tend to get way too sucked into making comments anyhow and probably spend more time on it than I should. XD

While I appreciate you adding me to your watch list, I think you should know that I've gotten more POLITICAL since we last spoke. Some of the stuff I post on here'd might not necessarily align with what a typical brony believes, when it comes to politics.

The truth is I left da temporarily, because 2 members of my family (my mother and my uncle) died months apart (2017-2018) the latter was around the same time as the parkland shooting. 

But this time I'm leaving this site because this show is coming to an end. 

And yeah I noticed about your political environment, boy have you changed, I mean if anything I want to include your oc as part of my series of farewell pics, reminiscing the good times we had. Pre-political.

There have been other mass shootings since then, and this has prompted a large gun control movement in the U.S.. 

Don't know how that's gonna end up! Especially now since the Democrats in Congress have started impeachment hearings against President Trump.

This didn't feel right to me, so I decided to start posting my own COUNTER articles; since things in the U.S. under President Trump really HAVE improved since he's been in office; and not gotten WORSE, as those Leftist videos and articles tend to say.
