Hey, no problem! You're art is so awesome and just plain good, and Lord of the Flies is my favorite book. You most certainly did it justice. (Especially with the Roger and Jack stuff since they're my favorite characters.)

Thanks!^^ I've just realized a couple of months ago that Roger is my favourite character (however, I liked him at first time and it was about 13 years ago... but I developed to a fan just recently.). And I like Jack as well, but all characters are very well written. And why are they your fav. characters? (Just because I don't have any reasons or don't know...)

Uhm...I sort of always like the antagonists. I find them much cooler and more likable than the protagonists. Also, maybe this sounds weird, but I found them both kind of relateable. So, yeah, sorry for not having any like logic-based reasons or anything. (But I suppose that's okay, considering Jack and Roger and all.)

I see. And it's not problem that you don't have logic-based reasons... me neither. For example, I liked for first read Roger just because he's a "Roger", I mean, I like this name and in an other book was an other Roger whom I liked. And later I found this character very interesting how he developed from the beginning to the end. Btw, I also like antagonists, because it is more interesting to see what is in the background of their motivations.

Oh yeah definitely. But I'm odd in that I enjoy reading about insane characters. They are interesting to me. But may I ask what the other book was?

It was Northern Lights by Philip Pullman (1st part of His Dark Materials). Have you read it? Here Roger Parslow was the protagonist's best friend.
And what kind of books do you like, with insane characters?

OMG the His Dark Materials trilogy is one of my favorites! I was absolutely obsessed with it a few years back, and still love it lots. "Northern Lights" was called "The Golden Compass" when I read it. I think "Northern Lights" was the original/European title for the book, maybe?
But anyway, not strictly a book, but I loved Death Note (and Light obviously, if you've read it as well). Um...There are more for sure, though titles seem to elude me at the moment...

Hey, HDM fan! Yes, Northern Lights is the original (UK) title and the Hungarian translation is based on this. However, after the movie released the new edition made "Golden Compass" the main title and NL like a subtitle. And I'm currently reading in English the 3rd book.
I haven't read Death Note yet (but it's on my to-read-list), but read other mangas, last one was "Dusk Maiden of Amnesia", however, online, because it is not released here.

Oh wow the third one was really good. The ending was pretty sad though, if you ask me. If you like Will and Lyra, you'll most likely think so, too. I haven't read much manga though lately. But Death Note is fairly excellent. I know people who don't even read manga or watch anime and have really liked it.
By the way, though, you said a manga wasn't released where you are. Out of curiosity, where do you live? I'm in the US.

I liked Will more than Lyra, but both are great characters. My fav was Will, Serafina Pekkala and Mary Malone, and Roger as I told you. Every time I read this book (since I was 13), I always want to believe in daemons and parallel worlds.
I live in Hungary. Some mangas are released but unfortunately the market is shrinking...Fanmade translations are good but I don't like to read long documents on computer.

At first I didn't really like Will, but then I liked him more than Lyra as well. Lyra sort of annoyed me by the end, to be honest. I found it interesting though when she was introduced to where Will came from (or, I suppose "our" world). I always think that sort of thing is. But yeah, daemons are just so awesome. Ever since reading this, I've always wished they were real. If you had one, what would you want it to be/what do you think it would end up being?

Yes, Will is so mature and calm, that's why I liked him better. Lyra was good at the beginning but she was sometimes too immature (however, a 12-years-old child...). And these parallel worlds are amazing. I think you mentioned that part when they compare their worlds... I also liked it in the 2nd book.
Daemons... When I saw people with their pets, sometimes I tried to imagine that they are not just dogs, rabbits etc., but their daemons. And what about my daemon? Hm... I don't know, earlier I wanted to have a cat, because I'm a cat-lover, but now I think he would be rather a rat. Maybe because as a child I always wanted to have a pet white rat, and I was born in the year of the rat. And I have some rodent-like appearance sometimes (my front teeth, just a little bit.) And what about your daemon?

Uhm...this needed a surprising amount of thought lol. Okay so if I could choose, I would probably want something like a fox, since they're my favorite animal. An arctic one would be cool. However, realistically, it would probably end up being something like a golden eagle. Still cool, in my opinion, though.
