Oooh XD I dunno, for horses I just use the burn and dodge set at like, 13% and go over until I get the shade I want...it helps to look at a picture. And you have to get every detail that makes a difference~

The same thing, use a picture as reference...you just need to get lineart or draw your own.

XD no problem!

For traditional, I don't know, I just have a good eye for detail. I get a picture and use it the whole time I'm drawing. I use every type of pencil from 2H to 6B and go through the different shades. It's hard to describe :P (Lick)

On the computer or in RL? I'm not good with horses in traditional drawing, I'm best at people and sketches.
