I did not give you permission to use my art like stock. When and where did I ever give you permission to do so? DeviantArt is a place to showcase artwork, and is not a FREE STOCK resource. Be real.

Sorry, but there is a large group of people (myself included) that we use to upload deviantart editable and free resources, free to many people, so do not say that deviantart is a place to display art, because many people use it to different things, be real you.

Appropriation of this artist's work without EXPRESS permission violates her intellectual property rights; passing this work off as belonging to someone other than the artist constitutes fraud. 

The works of this artist are governed by the Copyright Act of Canada which expressly prohibits the redistribution, republication or re-appropriation of the artwork without the EXPRESS WRITTEN OR VERBAL permission of the artist, which you did not have.

Posting art on this art-hosting website does not amount to permission to use and distribute the artwork. This is made clear in the deviantART terms of service, which clearly state "Individuals who have posted works to deviantART are either the copyright owners of the component parts of that work or are posting the work under license from a copyright owner or his or her agent or otherwise as permitted by law.  If there is a "large group" of people who believe it does, they are mistaken and most likely in violation of the Copyright Act of the original artist's jurisdiction.

Well this is in response to your original comment, since you just clearly publicly stated that you belong to a group who feels they have permission to use said artwork. I understand that you didn't directly use the artwork, but you belong to a group of artists who did, and I wanted to be clear that this is not only a violation of the deviantART terms of service, but of the Copyright Act of Canada. 

Using and distributing artwork without permission is something you CLEARLY stated above that you feel you have the RIGHT to do, and I want to be equally clear that you cannot use ANY artists work without their express permission.

This is false, and using deviantART as a way to get "free resources" is a violation of their terms of service.

My artwork is my personal and intellectual property—just because you WANT to use it, doesn't mean that you have the right. You actually need my written or verbal PERMISSION to use or edit my, or any other artist's, work in any capacity. This is not a free stock resource website. That's why I when I asked for deviantart to take down work that was stolen from me, they complied. It is the law. Do you want me to direct you to my lawyer? She can answer any further questions.
