# About me

Animals has always played a major influence in my life as an artists. I am a self taught artist who has created and love art since the moment I could pick up a pencil or molded my first sculpture out of clay. In first grade I had my first collector a fellow student who I believe had a slight crush on me bought several of my drawings of horses. I had a major obsession with horses as a child so all my artwork consisted of Equine. I was making pretty good money off this poor young man to purchase other obsession of mine "Lemon Drops". ( I was such a hussy growing up)
At the age of 14; I created my first clay piece of a farrier getting his face swap by a horse's tail. This piece earned me a Gold Medal in the Houston Livestock Stock Art Show. Most of my career has focused on sculpture and it has been awarding experience that has earned me collectors worldwide and the attention of Invitational Arts Shows Across the United States. My background for 25 years has been creating bronze sculptures but I found a new love creating lifelike creatures out of polymer clay and fine textiles using alpaca wool and viscose and digital painting.
