Also, I must tell you. Even though your costume was better than mine, I liked having two of us running around the con. We were in two places at once.

Yeah, whenever someone recognized me I would tell them I was elsewhere as well. Perhaps next time. Because we're most likely going to do it again next year, except better. And I'm going to try again with contacts, although it's virtually impossible. I can't keep still long enough.

Did anyone get fussy about your armband?

we're probably doing it again as well, gotta upgrade a few things, but not much and I didn't get much fuss for armband we did get "yelled at" once for heiling (which is funny cause it was the sunday of the con so it wouldnt have mattered if we got kicked out) but technically we broke no rules, and we did it anyways after xD; we mostly got a lot of excitement and a lot of "omg nazis" once we got "that's just wrong" and "there are some things you shouldn't cosplay" and other times "see i told you there were nazis here!" lol but not really any fuss if anything we had loads of fun with the reactions, especially from other army cosplayers like the Russians :> screaming back and forth about us facist bastards and them commie bastards lol how of you guys? any nazi comments? xD

I had some guy recognize the uniform but not the character. He said "I know that's a Hitler Youth uniform... but... what are you cosplaying?" And I was like "Schrodinger from Hellsing." And he was fine. Some guy told me he was Jewish. I told him it was cosplay, nothing personal, etc. One of the women said it was iffy and one of the dealers was Jewish. Also this boy said his friend was Jewish so I found her and hugged her. And... A Kenpachi Zaraki with cardboard hair and drawn on muscles seemed to be vaguely offended. Do... you have AIM or something? Perhaps we can keep talking there? It's faster and I feel less cramped.
