WELL, to be honest, my own novel has indeed stalled on me to a degree...I got like...7 chapters and the ending written, but other than that, nada.

Of course, it's my first NaNoWriMo, so i'm not stressing...plus I'm STILL writing, I've got a screenplay I'm writing for a guy and I'm halfway done with it. If I can focus on that and not let NEVERWINTER game distract me, I should be able to get done with it by say...oh...I dunno, Thanksgiving? So I got that going ^^

Ah, your first as well, eh? Think its that first time that happens when the nerves start to get to you, scale wise. Myself, I got the whole thing outlined, its just my drive to write it stalled. Granted, its also my first mystery so that probably also plays a role in it as well. 

And the continued writing is a good thing. Part of why I've devoted the rest of November to writing at least two short stories/novellas is to take part in the spirit of the month, writing wise at least. And I know the powerful allure of distracting games, had to uninstall TF2 just to be able to focus properly, and sometimes not even then. Good luck, though, man.

It doesn't help that it was a game I had JUST downloaded the night before and I barely tapped Level 10 before it went KAPUT on me. Had to go 2-3 days without playing it...and I had the knowledge that my sister enjoyed the game too, so she was WAY ahead of me and I'm like "OH, COME ON!!!!" XD

Yeah, my first NaNoWriMo. You know, I thought it'd be really hectic and all, since most of the novel is off the top of my head (with some exceptions) and I have the screenplay on the side...but really? *shrugs* I'm not really bothered at all. Not stressed or anything. Which is really amazing, knowing me.

Sometimes the story just 'flows' like a calm stream of a river. And sometimes its a malestorm of chaos. Still, glad you'r managing to juggle not one but two projects at the same time. Good job on that, man. I think on my end I spent so much time outlining the story when the time came to actual write it the motivation wasn't really there, ya know?

It's amazing, really, because in the past, during my fanfic days,I couldn't juggle multiple projects so well XD

Oh, I hear that, lol, I outlined many of my fantasy and horror stories, still do to this day, so I know where you're coming from
