hahaha, i'm so glad that stage of my life is over.

omg...i know right...i have been so inactive on here its a joke.
there was just exams at the end of last year, then in the holidays i got lazy and now I'm studying Fine Art at UCT, and let me tell you...

its just sucking all the time and inspiration out of my life...*sigh*

I've really been trying to produce new stuff and i'm sitting on some old pics from last year that i haven't posted so maybe you'll see those soon, don't get too excited though because end of the semester is soon which means an exhibition and exams.(kills self)

university is on a different level to school in general...don't be fooled into thinking that anything you study will be chiled. All of my friends who are studying other degrees are also buckling under the workload.

Fine art is ALOT of work (at least the Michaelis program is) and most of it is stuff you've never done before- and they don't spoon-feed. i remember how lost i was on my first couple assignments. Also don't expect it to be like 10% academic theory and 90% practical...its pretty evenly weighted which actually ends up being a good thing.

i was used to doing no work or preparation and getting good marks in highschool but that just doesn't fly in varsity. I've had to adjust my whole attitude. Its only recently that I'm developing a pace that suits my courses' workload...
i'm finding it really tough, but then again, i am a lazy person in general.

if you study fine art you should come to michaelis- it definitely has the best program in the country.
