ok well so far iv just been using the muro so I really need to find other ways if you can help me

You can use FireAlpaca or Gimp, both of which are free and can be downloaded to your computer. If you have a phone like galaxy note that has a large touchscreen and a stylus, you can spend a few dollars and get autodesk sketchbook.

What's really cool about these things is that there is layering, which will keep you from smearing your linework while you're blending your color. I use both Gimp and FireAlpaca for different things.
