At home, I bought a Windows box to replace my old compie with my grad money. However, if you are comfortable or familiar with the Macintosh, if you're thinking about getting a new computer, I would recommend it, because then you can work at home without the problems. I'm having trouble finding a portable hard drive that will work with both platforms. >_<
A portable hard drive is a good thing to have in this program, too, btw..
