Thanks so much! I haven't uploaded in years... full-time design works takes most of my time, and I'm finishing up a graphic novel. I will hopefully get back into painting this year, I miss it.

Thank you! I've been thinking about cleaning out my DA account to just reflect my current work (which was encouraged in my classes in order to appear more professional), but after thinking and talking about it, I really like keeping my galleries and sketches as an archive of my progress. I love seeing other people's progress, so perhaps once I'm more established I can inspire and encourage some folks!

the "Chicago hire salon" promotional illustration you did really got me some inspiration! Pretty nice combination of Ai + PS. I definitely added my DA watch to this work!
I dunno what you are learning about in Xi'an. Hopefully that was Chinese ink painting which is greatly symbolic and reasonably abstract. When I was a mini me, I got some ink painting training, for some reasons I quited midway. kinda pity. I hope you can learn it well and grasp the essence of it asap.
