Lol I always wondered how the infection would affect animals. I'm sure the ones in the zoo would either be taken to a safer location, killed by either humans or infected, or killed then checked for rabies by CEDA... like most(all) of the cows throughout both games. [/morbid]

the things is, you hear dogs barking sometimes in l4d1, so i don't think the green flu affects animals, and i personally think that the bigger more dangerous animals would be fine against anything except a tank or a witch, particularly the lions, chimpanzees and jaguars would be fine, imo, and the monkeys/lemurs/birds/small wild cats like geoffroy's cats and MAYBE servals would get the fuck out of dodge while the infected were still distracted with survivors... i know, I WANT IT SO BAD, but i play with bots too so... fail.. I dunno. I can see the predatory animals standing a chance, but after a while they'd eventually just run out of energy. And it only takes a few well placed injuries to completely incapacitate a cat. Theres always setting it to expert and killing them, but they do tend to cover your ass so uh.... xD ..... Jesus hell that kid is retarded... Also, I tend to avoid setting tanks on fire in l4d2, I dunno how it is in l4d1 cause I never had the chance to play it... but in 2 a tanks speed increases when its on fire. ITS LIKE... i know the big cats wouldn't last long if they stayed in the city since most are solitary, but i still think the chimpanzees would be just fine since(i'm thinking about my zoo here) there's alot of them, they're VERY STRONG, and they can climb to relative safety pretty easily... THAT WOULD BE AWSOME HOLYSHIT... but they'd never put actual animals ingame, you'd just see the corpses of the ones that had no chance in hell, and maybe HEAR the still alive ones fighting infected in the distance/maybe see some saferoom graffiti warning you about them...

yeah they do that in l4d1... but it's still usually the fastest way of killing them. it's all a matter of finding shit they have to climb over instead of trying to make a dead run or something. or having someone standing by to take the fall for you....
