I've been pretty.. AWESOME! Just trying to get my motivation back. I need to get some artwork done now that I've seen everyone's improvement! Thought I'd try to get in contact with my old Oekakiers..

Not much, getting ready to graduate college and all that jazz. Glad you are doing well.
It's been a long time since I have talked to people from the Oekaki, they seem to come and go around these parts. I am excited to see you submit some art again!

So you in college for character creation? ..or something along those lines? I remember a conversation we had a long time ago when you were in high school and you had to make your own math problems and solve them... and you used your characters that you drew on the oekaki.. lol. Don't tell me thats a wrong memory.. hahaha.

Game Design, actually, but I am specializing in concept art and character design.
And, I think that actually may have been spanish class? but I may have had to do it in math too...that was 6 some years ago or more, pfff! My memory fails me.

Life as a hobo seems pretty close! lol. Haven't been able to save up much money for college yet.. I'm thinking about just taking some art classes and not actually enrolling.. You're studying game design?? That sounds like an amazing occupation to have later down the road. Watch.. I'll be here playing your videogame and I'll be like.. "Yeah I know Kobbie!!!" <--- I know her. lol.

Ahh, the life of a hobo. Sounds glamorous! College is stupidly expensive...I guess I cant tell you if it's worth it or not because...well not really sure about that yet. We will see how it goes.
Taking classes without enrolling is a good idea though, it could help you get into school later, if you wanted to, and will look good on a resume. Community schools are really affordable and offer a lot of help as far as funding goes, so looking into it wouldn't be a bad idea.
As far as coming up with characters, it really depends. Its usually triggered by either someone's personality that makes me want to try and morph it into a character or, sometimes its just nature and natural design that naturally seems to meld itself together into an interesting design. I find the less you try, the easier it happens.
